Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet touched down based on established safety measures and all passengers, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence isn't the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet transporting a high-ranking official has encountered technical problems.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to turn back to Washington DC after encountering a mechanical fault.
